How We Shaped the Sound š
The Line 6 Helix
To capture the emotion and texture behind Timeless Tears, we ran the guitars through the Line 6 Helix, a $3,000 studio-grade multi-effects processor known for its rich tone shaping and analog warmth. We crafted custom chains inside the unit, blending lush ambient reverbs, dreamy modulation, subtle tape delays, and harmonic saturation to sculpt a sound that feels both vintage and futuristic.
From shimmering cleans to moody, washed-out leads, every layer was processed and performed live to preserve the human feel and emotional nuance. The Helix allowed us to dial in tones that breathe, move, and sit perfectly in any mix, making this kit more than just loops. It's a toolkit of atmosphere, storytelling, and sonic depth.
